In a later exchange a West Ham fan suggested ‘Oh David you are as deluded as the manager” to which Gold replied “No my friend we are in the premier league next season and it’s you that is deluded’
Despite a second “ugly” win on the bounce it appears some West Ham fans remain unhappy with the style of play understand Allardyce even though the team has now bagged six valuable points and are now all but safe from relegation.
