DG: Zarate will get his chance

zarate actionCo-chairman David Gold has made it clear that Mauro Zarate will be staying at Upton Park and will be getting his chance to impress.

The Argentine striker was given no chance as he struggled for form and fitness last season before being loaned out to Queens Park Rangers.

Gold, though, talking on Twitter, said he would get an opportunity under new boss Slaven Bilic.

He was answering a question on the social network from  fan and made no bones about the player’s position next term.

He said: “The slate has been wipe clean and under Slaven everybody will get their chance.dg”

We should give him Zarate until Xmas if he has not become part of the team or squad by then let him go he has cost us nothing,

Ty I kind of agree with you mate we need to move on just one of those characters who will go down as a what if!! Payet,Cabaye both good moves if we can get them we are all on the same wavelength crying out for some creativeness, the board have delivered the manager no doubt they’ll deliver on this to

If we take him back it will be a step backwards. The kids a jerk.Dont get rhe obsession with the prick. He has left us.Get on with signing Payet or Cayabe.Dont need this dickhead just because he flicks & tricks sometimes. So what, how often did it ever produce an end product.Wow,Spurs, big deal.

I always wonder with Rav if it’s just down to his mentality or he just doesn’t relate to the managers he’s had. Fergie,Floppy Chops and the Dung Beetle all in there 60’s, he was an issue at brum but he had a younger manager who maybe he related to and listened to more?? In the end it don’t really matter as he’s gone but I’m one of those that still think we’ve missed a trick with him

ahah… Rav is a touchy subject around these parts… lol Yes, I read that news too, I don’t know if it’s true… it is well known that I I have a thing for him, maybe he he’s a hothead, but he has magic feet… just a little nostalgic video… and Que sera, sera… 😉

Matte there is a God lets hope we beat OPR to Rav,and you can all moan at me but I keep explaining to my better half we have very few blessed with that special talent and it seems most of them come with there baggage,Gaza,Di Cannio,Rooney,Sterling ect,
We could pay 20 million to find a Zarate or Morrison and we could give them ago cheaply,
If I am wrong I will hold my hand up and we still won’t get relegated

  • stuck on 99 forever says:

Why not give him a clean slate,if he screws up we can unload him.He can go back to Lazio to replace that football genius Morrison.I gave him till christmas, maybe wont even make it till the end of this month it appears,,lol, what a loser 😀

I am going to put my hand up and say I would like to have Ravel back. His skill is from another planet…too bad his head is on another. 😐

      • Roman says:

It’s already been reported that Morrison wants out at Lazio and is already being linked to Q.P.R.Story says he is homesick.Probably doesn’t like the idea of doing time in an Italian jail.Apparently they have soap on a rope there. Is that true Matte?

  • hammer4life says:

Hmm. I personally think he’s a bit lightweight for English football but then again we didn’t really see him perform much. I hope I’m wrong

  • bubs says:

Agree with you Matte and he has the ability to do something special at times,
All he asked for was a chance but probably did not beg to hippo.

  • mattefumi slave to slav says:

I’m happy, he’s a good player. Sam never gave him a true chance. Will Nolan, O’brien, Demel, etc. have a chance too? I hope not…
