Diang scores Baggies opener

Former Hammer Grady Diangana scored the opening goal for West Brom in their Premier League game against Everton this afternoon.

Diang was given all the freedom in the world and scored a great solo goal for the Baggies on just 10 minutes.

West Brom went on to lose the game  5-2 to Everton and remain at the bottom on the league table with zero points and a goal difference of minus six.

The 22-year-old joined the midlands outfit managed by former West Ham player and manager Slaven Bilic for £18m and today he showed his class and what he can do.

West Ham’s board and manager remain under pressure after sacrificing the young Academy product as they have yet to sign any players with the proceeds and remain goal-less in the Premier League.

West Ham sit just above West Brom and Fulham in 16th place on zero points after the opening day loss to Newcastle United conceding two goals to their new signings both making their debuts.   Moyes will be under pressure to get something out of the game against Arsenal tonight and at least put up a fight.
