Grady Diangana is expected to get a start against the Irons at the Hawthorns this evening.
The former Hammer academy player was transferred to the Baggies for £18 million but has been unable to play a significant part in the club’s Premier League campaign following injury issues.
But boss Sam Allardyce has declared that it’s important the 23 year old gets game time ahead of next season and that suggests he is almost certain to start.
It will give him an overdue chance to show that the Irons were wrong to let him leave the London Stadium.
Hal Robson-Kanu was awarded his first league start of the season and marked it with a goal, while off the bench, Jake Livermore and Karlan Grant were also given minutes having barely featured over the past few months.
The Hammers can expect no easy ride as they bid for a win towards Euro qualification with various Albion players wanting to earn new and extended dals next season.
