Diangana on fire for Bilic

Hammer Grady Diangana has already proven to be an inspired loan signing for Slaven Bilic  The 21-year-old Hammer had already scored four goals and contributed three assists in the Championship for West Brom before last nights game.

The West Ham winger proved to be a game-changer once again. The youngster provided an assist for the opening goal after a great performance on the left wing. He used his skill to get around two defenders before playing a one-two with Jake Livermore.

The West Ham loanee slid an inch-perfect pass across the box for Matt Phillips to find the back of the net.

He also played a key role in West Brom’s second goal. He was brought down inside the box after a horror challenge from Cameron Carter-Vickers who was booked for his concession of probably the clearest penalty conceded anywhere this season.

Substitute Robson-Kanu, who had only been on the pitch for six minutes, had to wait patiently while Diangana received treatment. But he then ran up very slowly, outfoxing Jack Butland by sending him the wrong way.

The Baggies 2-0 win over Stoke City puts them back at the top of the Championship on 30 points after 15 games.

  1. He had a fantastic game. The Stoke full back kicked him all game. He got little protection from the ref and yet he had a massive impact on the game. For all his talent what amazed me most was his covering back and winning the ball deep in our half and then scurrying up the wing to ensure the danger was over. And that was in time added on. Obviously not ready for the prem yet. Leave him with us and you will get a star ready for next season..
