Julian Dicks has indicated Irons ‘forgotten midfielder’ Pedro Obiang may be ready to take his place in the squad for the Premier League clash against Arsenal on Sunday.
Summer signing Obiang, who joined the Hammers from Serie A outfit Sampdoria, has had a knee injury that has meant he’s only been able to complete only a few pre-season minutes – but Dicks is hoping he’ll come into the reckoning for the clash at the Emirates.
Dicks cleared up suggestions that Obiang may not be a part of the plans when asked on Twitter when he would be ready to take his place in the team. “Maybe this week,” revealed the Hammers coach.
Give it a rest bubs.No one has said he should play all season. All they have said is he doesnt deserve to be treated like a total tosser,we all know he wont be in the first team, thats why he is playing thursday with the fringe team if thats the case.We all know you think he should be assasinated but clearly Slaven doesnt see it that way while we are in europe & need everyone.
Be good to get Obiang back with Kouyate, with Pyet as backup we can then let Payet,Zarate and Lanzini free to rip the other team to bits,
If we get Song as well we will have a brilliant line in front of the defence,
Then we should let Nolan play there for the rest of the season because he is such a good servant,
I need a beer
Chambers has been injured for over a year but made an appearance in the Development team recent friendly.
On the subject of Forgotten Men……… Does anyone know where Leo Chambers is? Leo’s been given a shirt number and is included in the Development Squad list, but I’ve not heard one mention of him in pre-season games or when there’s talk of right-back players.
He’s had an injury i think 😉
That’s daft.if fit he plays Thursday to be sure.if not you can only sub bench for him sunday anyway or you risk a sub early doors if the gamble fails.Just leave him until Leicester and be done with.
