Dinamo Zagreb have singled out Mikey Antonio as the main danger man ahead of this week’s Europa League clash!
The Hammers striker has been in electric form this season and is likely to play against the Croatian giants after he was sent off in injury time against Southampton at the weekend.
That game ended 0-0 but Mikey has scored in every other league game thus far.
In total, he has four goals and three assists to his name, and Dinamo defender Rasmus Lauritsen accepts that he faces a huge challenge to keep Mikey quiet when the two sides clash in Croatia.
Speaking at the pre-match press conference, per The Independent, he said: “Whenever you play against an opponent you haven’t met before, you try to prepare extra, and watch footage of his matches.
“He is a solid opponent, it will be a challenge for me. It will be fun to fight and I am looking forward to the match.
“I like to play against good opponents like in the Europa League, you can see how good you really are.
“They play physical football in England. For sure it will be a physical game tomorrow, but we showed before in Europe that we are good at handling these physical opponents.”
Dinamo have history against English sides in the Europa League and humiliated Spurs last season; while they lost the first leg 2-0 in north London, Dinamo won the second leg 3-0 to dump Jose Mourinho’s side out of the competition. They were eventually knocked out by winners Villarreal.
