West Ham director of football Mario Husillos may resign after growing fed up of incessant criticism.
We have reported recently that Husillos is unhappy and that has now been followed up by the media at large.
The Argentine’s role at West Ham is indeed under extreme pressure ahead of the January transfer window as a result of a series of poor signings including Roberto in particular.
He signed a three-year contract worth more than £1 million-a-year when he joined shortly after Pellegrini was appointed in June of last year.
Should he leave – after criticism from fans and allegedly from inside the club – it would of course save compensation pay outs and according to various sources as he allegedly looks for a new position in La Liga and elsewhere.
Meanwhile rumours on social media that he had already moved on appear to be fake news.
Bye Bye
Is this an attempt by the board to get Pelle to resign in sympathy (since he was the one who wanted Husillos) and then there will be no need to pay him compensation (although lets not forget Curbishly got a payout for constructive dismissal)
