Disappointed Gold looks for United compensation

GoldDavid Gold doesn’t believe the Irons got what they deserved this afternoon at Leicester and that we were worth at least a point.

The co chairman told ClaretandHugh: “We carried the game to them throughout the second half.

It was clear we needed a cutting edge of course but we  really did deserve something form it.

“I  thought we played very well and with a lot of confidence but of course struggled during the early part of the game when they got that crucial goal.

Today we got beaten and sometimes you don’t get what you deserve today was one of those days but we move onto the Manchester United game in good heart.

“We have been on a good run of results and there was no shame in the defeat today because as I say we played really well.

“Now let’ go and get a result from the game on Monday. We are capable of getting something.”
