Disappointment for Grady in CandH PlayerWatch

|

PlayerWatch report Danny Leach had a cushy afternoon after we chose to follow young Grady Diangana at Huddersfield but of course he was subbed at half time.

This this is something of an abbreviated look at the lad with Danny concentratiing solely on a first half performance.

3 – Picks the ball up in midfield and plays a great through ball into the path of Arnautovic whose shot is saved well as the keeper gets down to his left

16 – Receives the ball from Rice and turns with the ball but he is quickly surrounded by three players and loses the ball

30 – Balbuena launches the ball to him on the wing but we lose possession after he makes a heavy first touch

34 – He is caught offside in the box after Obiang crosses the ball in

46 – He is sacrificed at half time for Chicharito who comes on

Verdict – 4.5It was a disappointing  afternoon all round in particular for Diangana who was hoping to build on a great start to life in the Premier League. Despite a couple of errors on the wing, the game dictated his performance as Huddersfield’s electric first half meant that he was very isolated on the wing and rarely got the ball between his feet. Today was not the right day to judge him as Pellegrini hauled him off at half time to add a greater goal scoring threat in Chicharito.
