West Ham United are reportedly considering a move for Toulouse defender Logan Costa as they continue to search for defensive reinforcements.
As we all know they’ve not had much luck in trying to convince their top targets in Jean-Claire Todibo and Tomori. However, that doesn’t mean that they won’t sign anyone in that position and they are looking at a number of alternatives.
According to Calciomercato, the Hammers are interested in signing Toulouse’s Logan Costa as a more budget friendly option.
The Hammers have identified the 23-year-old as a potential target to bolster their backline, Costa has impressed in Ligue 1, showcasing his physicality and aerial prowess.
However, concerns over the defender’s pace and his previous refusal to participate in a league-wide anti-homophobia campaign have raised questions about his suitability for the Premier League.
Costa was born in France but the 23 year old chose to represent Cape Verde despite playing for the French national team as a teenager.
The fact that O’Brien mentioned when he went to Everton Dyche’s track record for developing youth as a factor shows we are fighting a battle against Moyes’s reputation for not giving youth a go. And we haven’t got Europe, so this is a hard transfer window. Up to J-Lo to shift that reputation.
9 news articles in one day from you Simon, quality rather than quantity please I beg you.
Moyes knew the squad was in need of a complete overhaul because he caused the problem now we are paying the price for it top players are refusing deals to join us no Europe this season may impact us in bringing in certain players but it can’t all be because we are not in Europe this coming season there has to be some other reason as to why ????
I can answer that in one word. Money!
This bloke would make Roberto look like a world beater he’s that bad! This would be an absolute disaster and we would all have to wonder what the hell is going on
We are a mid table premier league team with no European football. Why would big guns want to join us. Down to moyes we didnt get european footy this season. The board couldn’t let go of him. Cost us
And that my pedigree chums is why we are nearly men, always going to move on, a player or two away, able to drop 5-10 places in a late season. That is us to a tee!
