West Ham’s next signing is done and dusted, according to in the know journalist Fabrizio Romano this morning who has given the traditional ‘here we go’ confirmation when a deal is agreed by all parties: So West Ham’s summer rebuild continues.
The not so surprising confirmation that Kyle Walker Peters is to become a Hammer is now out in the public domain. After Walker Peters’ flirting with Turkish side Besiktas who pulled the plug as the former Southampton man back pedalled on an deal, West Ham have done what many expected to be the first piece of business this summer and brought in the pacy right sided defender.
According to Romano who announced the agreement on his twitter page, KWP will join “AWB’, ‘JWP’ and ‘JCT’ as a WHU player:
“Kyle Walker-Peters has agreed to join West Ham on three year deal, here we go! After deal off with Besiktas, the fullback accepts to join West Ham as formal steps will follow soon.”

Just need strikers, Guessand / Stassin / Bojang?
So we need a goalkeeper, midfielders, and strikers so we get two defenders
About time but we so need mobile energetic midfielders and a striker who can actually score
Embarrassing. Sullivan out – Tim in!!!!1
No attacking midfielder, no back-up striker and now we have 3 left backs..?
This is good news for Sullivan But how about a new keeper and striker now whitch we badly need Still skirting around the real promlems
Roll out the double-barrels. I wonder if there are any others we can nab.
A very sensible addition particularly in view of the African Nations Cup, and at the right price too.
Could Shaun Wright-Phillips come out of retirement?
I hope not! DCL!
I’m glad he’s joined and getting him for free is a decent bit of business. Hope to see some exciting players being signed further up the pitch now though please.
Its DS new recruit, let’s keep the truth shall we?
Oh come on, relax. DS might have fancied him, but I cannot see Potter just accepting a new player rolling up to Rush Green having not had any conversations with our chairman about it.
Wot yo meen Man?
