Winston Reid and Diafra Sakho are both expected back for the clash against Aston Villa at the weekend.

Training ground sources confirmed this morning that Reid has suffered a dead leg as revealed to ClaretandHugh by David Gold last night.

And they are confident the central defender will be fit to resume against the midland outfit at the weekend whilst Sakho looks certain to return.

We were told: “Thankfully, Winston’s injury does not appear serious and he should be okay for the weekend whilst Diafra is very much on the mend.

All things being equal both should be fine.”
