Double bubbles night as Irons swing into action

The manager will be at Orient tonight

Tonight the English end of the pre-season build up continues in earnest with two games being played against Leyton Orient and Northampton.

The stars are missing following their Euro 2020 exertions and none of Declan, Tomas or Vladi may make it back for the series of upcoming games.

However, there remains plenty of interest as the manager looks to give some of his younger prospects the chance to impress alongside the senior pros.

David Moyes – who has barely had any sort of break since the last season closed – with his duties intervening at the European tournament will oversee things at Orient whilst members of the backroom staff will be keeping an eye on things at the Sixfields Stadium.

It really has been wall to wall football since our European qualifying season came to a close but it’s particularly good news to have the club to concentrate from now until the august kick off.

The Irons will have the same group of players available who featured at Dundee as the Hammers’ five UEFA Euro 2020 representatives .

That means supporters can expect to see the likes of Darren Randolph, Ryan Fredericks, Ben Johnson, Angelo Ogbonna, Issa Diop, Craig Dawson, Aaron Cresswell, Mark Noble, Manuel Lanzini, Jarrod Bowen and Michail Antonio in action, alongside Friday goalscorer Jamal Baptiste, young forward Mipo Odubeko and new Academy recruit Pierre Ekwah.
