Double signing in the next twenty four hours

West Ham are set to announce a double signing within 24 hours according to reliable journalist Ken Dyer writing in the London Standard.

It is well known that the Hammers have agreed on a £7million, three-year contract with Swansea for Fabianski but Dyer confirms they will delay confirmation of the deal until tomorrow since the 33-year-old former Arsenal keeper is in the Poland squad facing Senegal today.

The club’s favored journalist also says Issa Diop is due to complete a £22m transfer from French Ligue 1 club Toulouse tomorrow after arriving in London yesterday.

Everton, Crystal Palace and Sevilla are among the clubs who have shown an interest in 6ft 4ins in the 21-year-old but West Ham appears to have won the race for his signature.

The Frenchman has been previously scouted and linked with Barcelona, Inter Milan, Real Madrid, Liverpool, Spurs, Chelsea and Arsenal in the last 12 months.

  1. After about 15 seconds reading any article a Vodaphone advert appears, taking up about one third of the right hand side of the screen & about the same in the left. I can’t see how to remove it. It makes the site completely unusable, apart from kindly letting me write this. Is there a simple way of getting round this – needs to be simple as I am no techie. The alternative is just not use the site, but how long for? Do Vodaphone really want everybody to hate them 😡😡😡

  2. Interesting how a lot of these players get linked with clubs that have no intention of signing them . Just agents pumping out publicity for Thier man on the books . Inflating the prices is an obvious ploy .
Linked with ; Barcelona , Chelsea , Arsenal , Tottenham , Liverpool , Real Madrid and Inter Milan .,, and ending up at West Ham United !!! ., Everton or Palace . Should be a great talent then if you fall for it .
Why can’t we keep out of the news ? . Just say nothing untill the deal is done ?! .
    It’s rediculous.

    • It is not called silly season for anything, always wide speculation during the transfer window. Not just a British media thing, it is now a global media event. Some hate, some love it, some treat it as entertainment 😉

  3. We have said nothing. It’s only the papers that have.
