David Moyes has handed a shock start to Flynn Downes against Liverpool.
The Hammers boss has been forced into a couple of surprise alterations to his team and has brought Downes in to midfield, alongside Declan Rice and Tomas Soucek.
There is no Lucas Paqueta in the squad, as he is presumably ruled out after sustaining a shoulder injury against Southampton, while Vlad Coufal and Emerson have both been benched.
Kurt Zouma starts at centre-back after recovering from his illness, and it appears the Hammers are lining up with a back four.
For Liverpool, Trent Alexander-Arnold returns to the XI although there is no Andy Robertson.
