Aston Villa are investigating last night’s Instagram Live stream where Jhon Duran crossed his arms in the classic West Ham COYI signature move. It is being reported that the Colombian striker could be fined by the Midlands club following his online “come and get me” plea.

Poor old Duran seems to have gotten himself into a bit of trouble for his online gesture to Hammers fans, according to Birmingham Live. Like many others, Duran had expected Villa to accept West Ham’s near £40 million transfer deal, which would have taken the striker to the London Stadium.

The Hammers want to sign the striker but are yet to find an agreement with Villa for his transfer despite making three bids. Meanwhile, the player himself has already agreed on personal terms for a five-year deal.

I can understand why Villa fans might find Duran’s actions annoying, but if the club decides to punish him, I can only see the situation getting worse.

Yes villa need to let him go now! As 4 the hammers…. GO GET HIM!! Nothing like a player whose desperate to join and prove himself, if hes handled correctly he could rip it up this season for west ham! Other clubs defences are the lions, throw him at them!

I have no sympathy for villa fans at all, the guy don’t want to be at villa, let villa p* him off and he can walk away on a free at the end of next season, and they will lose out as they will get nothing at all, and he wants West ham so we can save almost 40 million quid that’s a great days work, no other club are going to try to sign him as they all know they can get him for free in a years time. Just shows you how thick villas board are, whatever they do now will just make him more determined to hang in there then walk away as a freebie. Great result for all but the greedy b* at villa, this ploy is all because they will be in danger of a points deduction if they don’t sell as they have already overspent so sales are now necessary. They will become the new laughing stock of the Premier league. And more good news man city will lose there titles and cups when they are found guilty of the 115 ffp charges and in view of the severity of those charges they will have to be relegated in fairness to forest and Co who had points, deductions for far less breaches so it is inevitable and pep will definitely be off.

I suppose it is as bad as when Paul Ince put a Man Utd shirt on all those years ago. So I have sympathy for the Villa fans.

The difference is, too many players do all sorts of things these days.

At least we know that if he does sign for us and he throws toys out of the pram if he doesn’t get his way, like others before him, we knew it could be coming.

We have seen it too often.

Looks like Villa have a problem on their hands!!

An unhappy player, facing a club fine, who wants to get away.

Either let the player move on and take the money, or keep him and you then have a long term problem and diminishing asset on your hands.

  • John Ayris says:

There’s a definite concern about his attitude is a big part of the reason why he’s not worth top dollar.

I now hope that we are looking elsewhere as the ITKs are saying we are.

  • Terry says:

Waiting patiently for all the Villa fans to post on our site 😂

    • Dean🫧⚒️🫧⚒️ says:

Scattergun approach, do you mean keeping our options open? And not putting all your eggs in one basket if that’s scattergun, I’m all for it
