Dyche denies Hammers interest in player

|

Burnley manager Sean Dyche has claimed he is unaware in any Hammers interest in attacking midfielder Scott Arfield.

The player has six months left on his current deal has also been linked with Brighton and Crystal Palace.

Dyche claims the  Clarets have approached the player about the possibility of  a new deal  but admitted an agreement has not yet been reached.

When asked if he is aware of any interest in Arfield from rival clubs, Dyche replied: “No. We’ve had talks with him. He’s sat tight on an offer so we’ll keep open minds, as will he I hope, to what comes next.

The 29 year old is the latest to be linked with the Hammers which may be understandable given the media is widely aware that this is the priority area as far as David Moyes is concerned!
