Dyche: Matt Taylor ready for Irons

TaylorBurnley boss Sean Dyche is backing Matt Tayklor for a big performance against us on Saturday.

The former Iron missed a very important penalty against Burnley last week but the Clarets boss reckons he has put that one away in his mind.

He said: “I don’t think last week is relevant, but playing against his old club might be.

“I think he wants to play full stop because he’s had a tough time with injuries since he’s got here.

“He’s a super-fit lad and for the first time in his career virtually he’s had an awkward spell out with something we thought would be moderate term.

“He’s fit and well now and looking forward to playing if selected.”
