Early Hammers Boost For Newcastle Visit

The last international break of the year means that once again the Premier League is on pause next week. Managers will try and build their squads’ fitness: In Lopetegui’s case there is much to be done to get the Hammers singing from the same hymn sheet as the team still looks disjointed.

Perhaps, whilst we lament these breaks this has come at the right time for West Ham who had late fitness tests for Jarrod Bowen and Jean Clair Todibo yesterday. Nearly to weeks to recover and repair.

Newcastle have their own issues ahead of that game and one player who will not be in the dressing room is influential defender Dan Burn (pictured) who picked up a fifth yellow card and will miss the game through a one match suspension.

Hugely influential Anthony Gordon is also a doubt: he was forced off today with ten minutes to go owing to a recurrence of his hip injury. Eddie Howe suggested he’d not be fit to pay for England this week and therefore he’s a doubt for the game with West Ham – which could be a big leveller as the Irons have their own suspensions and injury problems well documented with Mohammed Kudus banned and Niclas Fullkrug on the never-never fit list.

From the old Bobby Moore Upper to the Billy Bonds' stand these days I've been watching since '03 and a supporter since about 1970.. 'Football is Life' oh yes. Let it raise your spirit but never darken your mood. Life's too short not to enjoy the journey with our Claret and Blue heroes n' villains.

Really are struggling if you think long streak Burn missing is a result.

I saw the headline and thought JLo had gone 🤣

That would be a massive boost!

Isak will score at least a hat-trick against our hapless side that can easily be walked through. Will be lucky to get away with a 4-0 from this one.

Anyone playing FPL should bring in Isak and triple 🧢 him!

Maximum boost and awesome FPL tip for GW12

Agreed Kenny irons , as I said here before why does anybody think that a team with 2 players missing gives us a real advantage, the word squad comes into play. Don’t count your chickens before they hatch.

  • Kenny Irons says:

lol, Howe can rest as many players as he likes and still stroll past our sorry excuse for a football team 👎

    • Matt says:

Howe could play himself and his assistant with the year round Jacky Chan and the Geordies would still win! 🤣🤣🤣
