Egyptian midfielder in “advanced” Irons talks

West Ham are understood be a long way down the road towards signing FC Basel’s 21 year old defensive midfielder Mohamed El-Nenny in the summer.

Egyptian Football website EPArena.com  is reporting that the player’s agency team –  SPOCS Sports Consultants – as saying talks between themselves and the Irons are at an advanced stage.

El-Nenny has earned 23 caps for Egypt since 2011 and he played four games in the 2012 Olympics.
