Elliot becomes a Tyke

lee2Former West Ham Academy striker Elliot Lee has joined George Moncur at newly promoted Championship club Barnsley it has been confirmed.

Barnsley Football Club officially confirmed that Elliot Lee has agreed personal terms at Oakwell yesterday and will join Barnsley ahead of the 2016/17 season.
A product of West Ham’s Academy system, the Durham born striker enjoyed two loan spells in League One last season at Blackpool and Colchester United respectively, featuring against Barnsley twice at Oakwell.

21-year-old Lee was released by the Hammers this summer but his father Rob Lee claimed the Hammers did not give his son the chance he deserved. Elliot released a statement on social media when he was released saying he would prove everybody wrong but thanked those who supported him during his time at West Ham.
