New West Ham signing Emmanuel Emenike will miss Tuesday night’s game with Aston Villa under the Boleyn Ground lights after it was not possible to register him before the 12pm deadline today.
TheĀ 28-year-old Nigerian has yet to receive international clearance and until then the player can not be registered.
Like many, Claret and Hugh had assumed the match fit striker would go straight into the squad tomorrow and looked certain to play some part of tomorrow’s Premier League clash but that is not the case.
A source close to the club said “We never said he would be eligible to play on Tuesday night, we need to get his international clearance sorted first. We will clarify on WHUFC.com later”
Also carol isn’t match fit , he will play bit parts again to build up his fitness , before the next injury ??.
He will probably get his chance at Southampton on Saturday
So we have no CF for Villa but 3 for the games after that ?
That was worth waiting for and the new man may never get a chance unless A C is actually not ready yet,
Back to the old 3 forwards again,at least Byram can play and the others should be fit,
Hope Obiang gets a start he deserves to stay in the team even if Noble and Kouyate are fit but not Song
We have two CF’s for the villa game Bubs, Jelly and Valencia, The Chinese window shuts a month from now so I don’t think there is any rush in completing the Jelly deal.
