Emenike opens up on his prison hell

emenikeEmanuelle Emwnike has spoken about match fixing allegations which saw him go to prison five years ago.

The striker was playing for Turkish side Karabukspor when baseless allegations emerged claiming he faked an injury to miss the crucial title-decided game, which Fenerbahce won 1-0, in return for a big money move to the Istanbul-based club.

Both Karabukspor and Emenike denied the claims with the club’s doctor provided a letter to confirm the striker’s injury was genuine.

However, he was locked up for four nights despite the doctor’s letter before being released due to a lack of evidence.

“My time in prison was a crazy nightmare that I couldn’t wake up from,” Emenike toldThe Sun.

“I’ve never committed a crime in my life but I was treated like a criminal, living on bread and water.

“It was not a good experience. It gave me a different perspective on life. When I was finally cleared I thanked God for letting justice prevail.”

  1. Hope his mind is only on scoring goals,
This is big chance to impress the fukc out of the fans and become a hero,he wants a move in the summer we need a goal scorer and he is cheap at the price quoted,
Lanzini being back with Payet should provide all the chances he needs against a championship side defence it’s now or never ( no pressure )
