Hugely emotional Slaven Bilic claimed this game had ticked all the boxes and maybe should have been over at half time.
The manager said: “We have broken records and tonight were so highly motivated and although we were under pressure we were totally determined that we would not lose.
“We had the chances to have won the game by half time but we dug in and refused to be beaten – it was fantastic.
“We knew Manchester United would be up for it in a big way but we got it absolutely right – it was perfect. Every box as ticked.
“We totally deserved the result. It was a special game and a very special night. The crosses came in and the delivery and finishes were perfect. Β It was a great great result.”
Correct me if I’m wrong Fobyac but have you not just proved yourself no better than anyone else by coming here calling the chaps ‘Morons’.Pot & Kettle springs to mind. You can’t bleat about childish comments when you unload your comments aimed at stirring the pot.No more grown up from what I can see.As for inferiority complex,do people who call other fans of the same club ignorant & illiterate not have a superiority complex.Just a thought.
Fair point I suppose.
lol… you’re a real diplomatic Capitain Jack… I’m little less than you… Fobyac, I like this site because we can talk about football, with laughter. We’re not managers or experts, we don’t need to flaunt our deep wisdom, we don’t need to replace Bilic, we are just fans, but trust me, laughing and joking, I read the most interesting comments on this site. We are not intellectuals like you, this is a football website and we’re non talking about world hunger. Yesterday, I expressed my opinion after the match, excuse me for not saying it over and over again, maybe I’d look more sophisticated in your eyes. I promise I will apply to Oxford Universtity so we’ll have tea together talking about high finance and smoking a cigar. π
Yuck, you have just made me feel sick Matte.I smoked a couple of cigars when I was drunk lastnight.I don’t even like them, lol.Woke up this morning after about 4 hours sleep with a taste in my mouth like I had eaten a shoe π
Maybe I did eat a shoe,I can’t remember π
ahaha… I don’t like them too, I smoke my Rothmans blue, they represent better a rabid illiterate dog… lol π
Come on young Fobyac me friend. No need for that.If you don’t like this forum don’t come here. From this buggers understanding of things these fans have been called ignorant, morons & illiterate I think. Now i ask you me friend,if you were called that by other fans would you have any respect for them?
Oh don’t get me wrong there are a few on there too who are just as bad.
One of the regular posters (Johnsey I think) made the point that it was ironic that people were posting on there complaining about people on here complaining about them.
I just don’t get it
Sorry Fobby,no inferiority complex from me.I travel the country supporting the team while you bang away on your keyboard during matches on your match thread, haha. What inferiority complex should I have.Try coming to support the team in the stands instead of giving your pearls of wisdom on a forum π
Oh I’ve followed the team, I’ve got the scars to prove it too.
I can’t afford a ST nowadays but still attend when I can.
I genuinely can’t understand though why with all the great articles on here they are all followed with what can only be described as very childish and obsessive comments about fellow fans on another site, I can’t get my head around it.
Well don’t lose sleep over it Fobby.I don’t mind being called moronic an ignorant pig or illiterate.Go for it.I’m not surprised you have scars the amount of sh*t stirring you do.I guess childish comments by some are better than doubting someones intelligence or calling them a moron.I guess I ain’t so illiterate,I can just about reid & rite π
I don’t post on there to be honest, it’s not really my cup of tea.
But I don’t feel the need to constantly go on and on about it every day on here.
Seriously you lot have a massive inferiority complex.
Let it go.
What a load of old pony Floppy you appear on both sites like some kind of mystical aura when there’s a poorer performance… Don’t be coming out with all this I don’t post ******** your just after your invite to next year’s sleepover and a pat on the head for being the ultimate **** stirrer.
I’m surprised that someone like yourself who obviously reads every post over there every day so you can come on here and report it hasn’t noticed that I have hardly posted on there.
F*ck it that’s all I need, massive hangover & Fobyac turns up to call me a moron.Anyway I had a great night so you won’t spoil that.Great comment, keep smiling Fobyac. It’s ok we know you only venture over here to have a dig. It’s to be expected.Enjoy your moment in the sun.You can get back to Wetpants now & tell them what a big brave foot soldier you are coming here to call us morons, haha π
One of the greatest nights in our fantastic history.
Yet all some of you morons can talk about is the other site, you need help seriously.
And so the biggest **** stirrer of them all rolls up with another of his profound comments..
I take no notice of The Yac anymore GW.Never winds me up anymore.Last season he basically admitted to me he only comes here to stir it up or when he fancies a row, haha.I can’t take that seriously.I have been called worse than moron.Ignorant Pig is far better anyway as far as I’m concerned π
Morning you rascals. That was special wasn’t it my friends. What a way to bow out.All over now,we move on after a terrific game of football & fitting farewell.Took alot to walk out of the ground lastnight for the last time but it had to be done.Meself,I walked away with pride in our club & supporters realising how lucky this old bugger has been to supporter this wonderful club.Time for the Olympic Stadium & the next generations to enjoy the joy of supporting our amazing club.Just me own thoughts on the ground move but I have always found it a bit selfish for the older generations not wanting to move.In 10 or 20 years old timers like me will be boxed up with the worms while our younger fans are left with the likes or Spurs & Chelsea leaving us in their trail. It was time for a move in me own opinion & if this 76 year old grumpy man can accept it I’m sure a few more can.Lets see a bright future for our club, for the youngsters who in years to come will take my place.I had no tears meself, just absolute pride π
Don’t know what you lads are talking about when it comes to John,Ron & Bobby but I met all of them more times than I can remember & one thing I can say definitely is that they would have no favourite site or favourite fans, they would have loved us all with equal measures.
Hmmm, you are far too cunning for me at this time of the morning Starling. But you have been up since the dawn chorus started so you do have a few hours on me to come up with your fantastic, witty baiting lol
Glad you had a top night Rads, the place seemed to be jumping. It was brilliant to watch.
You have to be careful of the cunning birds who want to bait you Billy, maybe Sparrow should rename himself Magpie or Cuckoo, lol.
So Sparrow the geezer who makes some comment about people talking about other comments then comes on here to bait people about their comments, haha. All too intelligent for me this morning,I’m hungover after going on the p*ss after the game lastnight, found a nice wateringhole until about 3am.The atmosphere lastnight was incredible.I never thought I would be in the ground when it rocked like that again.
In other news if your out there Stanley, don’t worry about West Ham fans going soft & having found their feminine side, there wasn’t a tsunami of tears, haha, have no fear,Irons fans ain’t turned into girlies, not yet anyway, haha
Oh & Matte,Bubs,I blasted out Bubbles for you & the other boys who couldn’t make it from here.Rabid Dogs,Ignorant Pigs,Morons,Illiterate, other fans can think what they want of us but you are all still the top men in my book!! π
ahaha… Thanks for your Bubbles Rads, great gift for me mate… yes, wonderful match and wonderful atmosphere, it was more of a growl than a human voice on tv, I can’t imagine live… Very happy for you and all the fans, you deserved this memorable farewell. It all seemed like a thriller with a happy ending… π
Yeah it was an amazing night Matte,I have the worlds worse hangover this morning but it was all worth it.Decided to take the day off work, haha. It was loud in the ground, really loud & we couldn’t have asked for a better game or finish to a game could we.When Winnie scored I thought the roofs were going to blow off.I’m afraid all my litres of water didn’t work though,no tears appeared,I can’t qualify as a loyal supporter now I guess haha.
I see that Wetpants went down lastnight,that’s fate,haha,Karma π
ahaha… yeah, that’s funny, they were like caged animals… the blackout blocked the river of tears, they were imploding along with their cunning tactics and stats… Yes, that’s called Karma, wise Lama… lol π
Lol,there really was something quite strange that it should crash on the last ever match at the ground.Maybe Lyall,Greenwood & Mooro decided to play a little game on the site of their choice.Maybe the 3 of them appreciate the less intellectual, illiterate fans like us after all π
Well that is the point isn’t it Starling you tosser, after all that happened lastnight you still get people who want to dissect the game rather than embracing the evening for what it was.Bellend.
You’re not much fun Billy. Too easy to get you to take the bait!
What a fitting send off to the Boleyn! Slav was right, it ticked all the boxes. A pulsating match and a fantastic atmosphere. I had a great day around Green Street and a great night, one to remember for a long time. Amazing that some on here can’t get further than worrying about what some people comment on another site after such a historic occasion.
A fantastic night. A perfect send off. Proud of the boys tonight, past and present.
If someone had written a script for this match they couldn’t have written a better one.
What were you saying the other day about Bilic and Antonio?
Fairweather what does it matter it will just be the same old ********, he’s a minger bring back the pukka pie eating fat turd so called manager blah blah blah lol..
Good to see the curse I put on Wetlands worked. That will teach them for calling us ignorant pigs & morons, lol.Every rabid dog has its day π
Just a shout out to those on here that stood side by side during the Slug years and wanted a different future even though we were classed a rabid dogs by the intellectuals and moist pants brigade.. This is what we wanted a team that fights for everything a manager that knows what the fans deserve… Be careful what you wish for they said, We’ll go down without the slug they said, Antonio’s a minger they said well for a bunch of so called intellectuals they’ve all been shown up for being the asses we always thought they were.. So here’s to C+H the true home of down to earth Irons fans, here’s to moving forward and here’s to always being a true iron whether good times or bad..
Amen GW π
C+H -online home of real supporters! COYI! WHAT A NIGHT!
Captain Jack as I now seem to be known is home.My last short trip back. What a night my friends I thought I was going to have a heart attack waiting for the final whistle.Me old ticker was going crazy.Hope you all enjoyed it as much as me.The place was amazing tonight, such a beautiful way to say goodbye.I didn’t want to walk out but my boy dragged me kicking & screaming.Goodnight lads.
Anyway, Bilic is just great, he’s the real Hammer of the year.
Long live King Slav. π
Christ Matte I’m a really calm laid back sort of guy but who the **** on a night like tonight wants to start dissecting who should have scored or who shouldn’t.Jesus Christ was there not more to tonight than that.I give up,i need sleep lol
We won our last game at The Boleyn against manure & deserved to win. Again we saw that Antonio is not a defender but tonight who cares. We might have missed a dozen chances tonight but i really don’t care.
It was a emotional night , the last we shall ever see at Upton Park .. That win means so much it’s hard to describe . So much history .
Olympic Stadium here we come .
Welcome to positivity Kevin, I knew had it in you ;-D lol
lol Gobby… that magical place crashed today… They were like a bunch of trapped animals, now they’re free as birds… lol π
Heart,Desire,Fight and the will to win.. Thank you Slav for giving us our club back after 4 years of turgid **** and to all you wannabee stats gurus, politicians and football managers instead of ****ing moaning support the club whether win lose or draw…
Honestly a few of them don’t get it.******** to the missed chances,******** to who should have scored,it was all far bigger than that. They can’t help themselves from having to pick apart every f*cking thing.Forget that for tonight kn*bs.
I enjoyed it Essexclarets, did the trick for me mate π
Jesus Christ,it could only happen on Wetpants.Last ever match at Upton Park & they are already analyzing missed chances that should have been scored.**** me forget about that for a change & remember this evening for what it is.Thank God i was banned from that place, lol
I will prob get slaughted for this but Is this really the best we could come up with after having so long to plan things?? Drag aload of ex-players in taxis who most look bewildered as to why they were really there. And Bianca Westwood.. really?
at least we can remember the game forever.
