England-bound Jesse drops another Hammers hint

|

Jesse Lingard has headed off for international duty knowing he owes his call-up it to West Ham and his team mates at the club.

And it’s another heavy hint that he is is seeing his future in the east end of London next season as a permanent Hammer.

He has had nothing but good to say about WHUFC – with a near constant smile on his face – since arriving at the club and although his call up is to some extent down to injuries it’s a great achievement after a handful of games.

Agents are currently at work in a bid to make his deal permanent and it would come as a shock given how he is clearly enjoying his new success were we not to make it happen.

Jesse made it clear before going away – aided by his brother who made it clear this was now home – where his future laid.

And speaking to West Ham TV before heading off the attacking midfielder said: “It’s brilliant, and it’s about getting minutes and getting regular football and trying to do the best I can,”

“The team has helped me tremendously and I can’t thank the players and staff for welcoming me enough and it’s time to crack on now.”

Lingard, fellow West Ham star Declan Rice, and company kick-off their campaign to reach Qatar with ties at home to San Marino and Poland either side of a trip to Albania, and the No11 says his happiness as a Hammer means he heads off to St George’s Park full of renewed confidence and belief in his game.
