England v Uruguay Live Blog

Having failed to grab three points against Italy in their first Group D match of Brazil 2014, England now face a “do or die” match against Uruguay in hope of trying to salvage their World Cup campaign.

A Mario Balotelli header snatched victory for Italy last weekend after a valiant performance from Hodgson’s side, where players such as Raheem Sterling showed they could adapt to the international stage. With two games left in Group D, a win against Uruguay would put England a step closer to the last 16 but with the likes of Luis Suarez and Edison Cavani lining up for Uruguay going to require Hodgson’s star players to perform.

We will be covering all the action LIVE in our World Cup blog below, with all the best Social Media, YouTube clips and Live Commentary. Also, get involved by commenting on the blog below and you could feature in our coverage!
