The draw for the third qualifying round for the Europa League will take place in France this Friday.
The first leg will be played on Thursday 30th July with the second leg on Thursday 6th August just two before the official start of the Premier League season.
Borussia Dortmund, Athletic Club, Sampdoria, Bordeaux and Southampton will be involved when the third qualifying round draw is streamed live from Nyon at 12pm.
Twenty-five clubs received a bye to this stage and will be joined by the winners of the 33 second qualifying ties. The teams are ranked by their coefficient or, in the case of clubs emerging from the second qualifying round ties, by the higher of the two coefficients involved – with 29 sides classified as seeded.
The teams are further split into five groups containing an equal number of seeded and unseeded contenders. Every seeded club will meet an unseeded opponent from within the same group.
The draw will be televised LIVE on UEFA.com
I’m still hoping the junior Viking gets the nod but I suppose more interesting is if Maiga scores a couple past the maltesers, will that be enough to put him in Slav’s plans,my thoughts would be he’d still have more to prove.
I’m hoping to see more first teamers tomorrow
Let’s hope by the time we play the bigger teams we have the first team sorted the new signings involved,
Let’s get past the fodder first, could be a banana skin tomorrow if Lee lets me down I have no trust in Magia,
Expect you are kept apart for now bubs.Later knockout rounds you get your own countries teams to play if you get down to the last 16 onwards & it turns into a cup knockout draw.Least we are safe from the big boys for now being seeded along with them.I dont fancy playing Dortmund in a qualifiying round 😀
Can you draw someone from your own country or are you separated as in other competitions ?
I take it we’re seeded and not jaffas then lol
We are no longer top seed by a long way but yes we should be seeded
Hmm so there might be a head count required lol
