Europe looks the key to permanent deal

|

West Ham’s hopes of landing Jesse Lingard from Manchester United will be boosted by the club landing a place in the top six .although that would const them an extra half a million pounds.

Lingard’s loan deal includes a clause which means the Irons will have to stump up the £500,000 should they hit either the Europa Cup or Champions Cup  qualifying positions.

Lingard is reported to be extremely happy at the London Stadium according to our insiders and should his loan spell end with such a possibility he would be even keener to join the club on a permanent basis.

His infectious attitude and performances – not tor mention three goals – have demonstrated to everybody at the club – and fans – that he will need little pushing in pledging himself to a three or four year deal.

However, as reported yesterday, given Manchester United  tough negotiating position – even on the loan – the club can face perhaps prolonged summer talks.
