Everton come in for Valencia

valenciaFootball Insider for Bleacher Report, Dean Jones are coming in with a late loan bid for Enner Valencia worth a £1.5m loan fee plus his wages in full.

Jones tweeted “Everton are making a late £1.5m loan offer for Enner Valencia, who has been in talks with Swansea over a switch from West Ham.”

Swansea City are said to have been  in talks all  to sign Valencia on loan. The 26-year-old Ecuador international joined the Hammers from Pachuca for £12m in 2014.

He has made six appearances this season but will find his first-team chances limited by West Ham’s loan signing of Italy striker Simone Zaza. Swansea chairman Huw Jenkins has indicated the Swans will make more signings before the transfer window shuts at 11pm on Wednesday night.

  1. The plot thickens ? 😉 has lukaku been mentioned coming the other way ? 😉

  2. Lol Johnboy, I would rather we loaned him to Swansea, better not to sell or loan to a rival team. If though as you say they offer us Lukaku and a few million that would be OK 😉

  3. Having watched him in all of this years fixtures I would take the £1.5 as a fee to get rid of him.

  4. I was always thought Koeman was a smart guy but even he seems to have gone deadline day gaga.Nah this must be bullsh*t surely??

    • I think he’s been to Amsterdam rads , someone put some mushrooms on his dinner plate .
      😉

    • Me too, I always thought he was Ultra Sensible – but the Dutch are strange people.

But if we can get Biggins off the books then it’s been a great Deadline Day!

  5. He’s even agreed a 14.5 mill option to buy after loan ? That won’t happen then ?. 🙂

  6. This is madness if true.Great for us to get rid of Biggin Hill but a real strange one.Still I’m not complaining 🙂
