Everton may get double boost for Hammers game

Everton boss Frank Lampard has revealed that the Everton No 9 Dominic Calvert-Lewin is close to fitness and could be involved in the game against us at Goodison Park tomorrow afternoon (Sun)

The Toffees striker has been absent this season so far following what boss Frank Lampard described as a “freak injury” before the opening fixture against Chelsea.

However, has told his pre-match presser the player is now back in training and could be included in the squad which meets the Irons

Abdoulaye Doucoure is back fit, but Lampard was reluctant to go too far in his assessment of Calvert-Lewin saying only that he and the player would know come Sunday whether he is ready to start a game or not.

He added that whatever the situation they would have to be careful with him because he had a difficult injury and he would see at the weekend.”
