Everton step up interest in Hammer

Ings to Everton?

As CandH reported a couple of days ago, it appears that Everton are now stepping up efforts to bring Danny Ings to Merseyside before the summer transfer window finally shuts.

The newly thatched Ings, played a bit part last season for the Irons and has only scored 3 in 18 appearances

He is contracted to the Irons until the summer of 2025 and according to transfermarkt, he is valued at about £11m and is one of the highest earners at the club..

It is pretty obvious that he is not part of our Supremo’s long term plans ,and what with the arrival of Kudus and we are still hopeful for another striker, it may be a good move to let him go

At 31 he could still  be considered in his prime and it makes sense for the Toffees to snap him up on a short-term deal before the end of this summer transfer window. Ings has got a wealth of experience at the highest level and it could be of benefit to both parties.

He is a proven goalscorer and if the set up and minutes are right he will deliver. Reckon he would be very good for Everton, who are desperate, so please don’t give him away, get a good fee. Moyes will never get the best out of him for us, I feel.
