Everton boss Ronald Koeman has told his strikers to impress should they be called on this weekend.

Koeman said: “He has been an important part of this team and we know he can get more goals between now and the end of the season. He is improving all the time and that makes him one of the best.”

Reminded of Lukaku’s prolific record of netting for Everton in all nine of his matches against West Ham, Koeman added: “We’ll score at least one time on Saturday – that’s good to know!”

  1. I would be very happy and very surprised for about any point we may get from this game.
It could be very embarracing. It’s the only game this season that I have given up for dead even before the whistle is blown. I hope I’m wrong, so I can celebrate.

    • My sentiments “sleeps..”.It seems as if our poor recruitment in the last 12 months and an over optimistic expectation of A.C is coming home to haunt us.

    • I unfortunately agree. So many of us go to home games with a negative attitude that its no wonder the atmosphere suffers. I have to go back to the Redknapp era to remember going to games expecting to win. Also, like you, I can only hope that I am wrong.
