Dave hands out his marks!

Lukasz Fabianski – 6 – Good goalkeeper. Class remains permanent but his age is showing.

Alphonse Areola – 7 – Adapted well, . Needs to stay.

Aaron Cresswell – 7 – Superb player. Belies his age and has been exceptional this season.

Kurt Zouma – 8 – Top signing. Brought calm to the defence

Vladi Coufal – 6 – Nowhere near as good as last season. Not sure why.

Craig Dawson – 8 – £3m? One of the biggest bargains we’ve ever had.

Angelo Ogbonna – 6 – The injury killed him.

Issa Diop – 7 – He’s done ok on most occasions when called on.

Ryan Fredericks5 – Not at our level anymore but he does his best.

Arthur Masuaku4 – He’s not been good enough.

Ben Johnson – 7 – Done an admirable job and is growing all the time.

Pablo Fornals – 7 – Grown in importance all the time.

Manuel Lanzini – 6 – Hot and cold but he’s been excellent when needed.

Nikola Vlasic – 2 – Offers next to nothing but given the opportunities to show it.

Mark Noble – 16 – Farewell, Nobes.

Tomas Soucek – 6 – Nowhere near as effective as last season but he remains an excellent option. We need him.

Alex Kral – 1 – What was the point?

Declan Rice – 10 – The best defensive midfielder this country has produced in a generation and a genuine superstar.

Andriy Yarmolenko – 7 – A hero. We wish him all the very best.

Mikey Antonio – 5 – Faded badly in the second half of the season.

Jarrod Bowen – 9 – Absolutely top class. Would be a 10 without the injury.

Said Benrahma – 3 – One of the most inconsistent players we’ve ever had.

Issa Diop as good as Aaron Cresswell, Ben Johnson and Pablo Fornals, and better by 2 points than Mikey Antonio?? I must have been watching a different set of games.

    Pretty fair reflections although:
Cresswell deserves more, so much of what West Ham does well when playing out from the back goes through him + set piece delivery is vital for this team.
Bit harsh on Vlassic & Benrahma

My issue: how can you give Antonio just 5 when:
He played and led the line 36 of 38 EPL (Almost 3000 minutes 10 goals)
Europa League 9 games (767 minutes, 2 goals)
    2 FA Cup (180 = 1 goal)
    Totals: 3926 minutes, 47 games, 13 goals, 11 assists

Not to mention how much of West Hams play relys on his hold up and build up play.

Antonio has been magnificent this season with virtually no rest, rotation or competition, he’s been stellar
