West Ham take on Manchester United this weekend in what could be a huge game in the race to finish in the top four.

As United won in midweek, beating Brentford, and the Hammers lost to Leeds last weekend, the Irons go into the game well aware that a defeat will see them drop out of the Champions League qualification places.

Injury news – West Ham

Kurt Zouma could well make his return. Mark Noble has a knee injury, while Angelo Ogbonna is also on the treatment table. It remains to be seen if Tomas Soucek returns as he recovers from COVID but Said Benrahma is back from the African Cup of Nations although an unlikely inclusion.

Injury news – Manchester United

Paul Pogba has a hip injury, while Aaron Wan-Bissaka has an illness. Eric Bailly, Luke Shaw, and Edinson Cavani are also on the treatment table. Scott McTominay should return from a back knock, while Jadon Sancho could also return after missing the clash with Brentford because of personal reasons.

Last five meetings

West Ham beat United in the EFL Cup earlier this season but the four meetings before that have ended in three wins for the Red Devils and one draw.
