Ex-Hammers assistant Nikola Jurcevic insists that Nikola Vlasic will be a huge success at the club.
Jurcevic worked as the assistant manager when Slaven Bilic was in charge of the club.
Vlasic, of course, has something of a chip on his shoulder after he struggled during his first spell in England, with Everton.
However, he has gone on to become a star in Russia with CSKA Moscow and has also earned a fair few Croatia caps too.
He was initially loaned to CSKA by the Toffees but was so good, they snapped him up on a permanent basis.
And Jurcevic insists that the Irons are the perfect club for him, as he looks to make a genuine impact in the Premier League, having made his first-team debut against Southampton at the weekend.
Speaking to Sportske Novosti, Jurcevic said: “Moyes praises him a lot, which does not surprise me because we all know Vlašić’s qualities.
“He came to Everton as a very young player, and he also had the misfortune that they fired Koeman who brought him. He is now more experienced, better, extremely ambitious.
“West Ham is, I would say, just a club tailored to him, a club where he can show if he is capable and ready to go to the highest European level.
“Vlasic is versatile; he can play practically all positions in the offensive segment, which Moyes obviously knows well.
“I believe that everyone will profit with Vlašić in the locker room.”
Vlasic will hope to make his first start later this week, either against Dinamo Zagreb in the Europa League or Manchester United in the Premier League.
