Exciting new player should be unveiled soon

boleyninsiderThe club’s ITK seems to have all but confirmed a loan deal for Argentine midfielder Manuel Lanzini from UAE-based club Al Jazira will be confirmed soon.

The Boleyn Insider  revealed late last night:

“My sources have indicated that an exciting new player should be unveiled in the near future.”

“I understand that the player has arrived in England and will now undergo the necessary procedures before hopefully putting pen to paper on a season-long loan.”

  1. I will wait for the official announcement before I get excited,
Still it does get the juices flowing knowing another exciting young talent could be in our squad

  2. True enough bubs but you’d think an official ITK would know a players name lol

  3. Would be good to see news on a striker, however we do seem now to have a few goals in the midfield area which we were light on last season.

  4. Oh goody another midfielder, 2,7,1, line up this season (if any striker can stay fit enough to play) at least we can guarentee no hoof ball, there will be no one up front to hoof it too. Lol

  5. Please SUGO & Mr Bilic help lay our fears down & BUY A F*****G STRIKER… 😀

  6. Video would have been a lot better of they didn’t show him missing a bunch of shots!

Looks like he could cause defenders a few problems though!

  7. At the risk of sounding like a wetpants blogger I reckon he’ll be brought in to compete for a place in with three attacking mids behind a lone striker in a 4-2-3-1 formation. Mind you we’ve enough midfielders there to set up any sort of formation. Also probably why we’re being linked with Gervinho (meh), Mirallas, Lennon and Townsend.

Have we any decent young RB’s to provide cover for Jenks? I mean O’Brien will do ok but he’s not the best at bombing forward or consistent at putting a decent ball in to the box…

Still, it is such a nice breath of fresh air for us being linked with so many attacking players.

Fingers crossed Valencia will bang in the goals under Bilic like he does for his country.

  8. Yes it is a breath of fresh air. We’ve been starved of this type of player uner the Hippo

  9. Quite surprised we’ve not been linked with Corluka again since Bilic came in, not to mention many players from his Besiktas days. Tore would be a fantastic signing but guessing he’s going to cost a ridiculous amount of squids.
