West Ham sources have confirmed that speculation linking the club with a bid for Atalanta star Ruslan Malinovskyi is just that: Speculation.
The Hammers have been linked with a potential swoop to sign the attacking midfielder from the Italian club.
Spurs are also said to be interested, but previous reports have claimed that an offer has already been tabled by the Hammers as they each look to do a deal.
However, a top source at the club has now informed C&H that these reports are wide of the mark, and are nothing more than speculation at this point.
The Hammers are not likely to do all that much business this month, as manager David Moyes has himself admitted, but things could change if a player departs the club.
That has not happened yet and while there is the chance that this could change, right now any deal for Malinovskyi looks very unlikely.
Were that to change, we’ll be the first to let you know.
