West Ham Club sources have refused to consider any knee-jerk reaction regarding the head coach after another disappointing result after the Hammers collapsed 4-1 against Spurs on Saturday.
The board believe Julen Lopetegui needs time to integrate nine new players and transition to a new style of play and he will be given that time to turn things around.
There is a feeling at the club that the head coach should be given breathing space until the new year before any review is made.
The bigger disappointment from yesterday is Mohammed Kudus’s needless ban of at least three games after a VAR review, he received a straight red for violent conduct.
A senior source speaking to Claret and Hugh this morning has described this as a devasting blow and a massive miss for the team.
The social media outcry following the London derby defeat was predictable but the board have a track record of backing their managers.
because the stubborn little dwarf will not admit he has made a howler with the cheap option!
Nobody wanted this clown, he is so far out his depth its unreal, the team look confused, and morale appears to have been shot to shit, also, I love bowen, but he is not the right man for the captaincy, we need a leader, someone who will bark orders during the games, and not hide away. I totally get it was goign to take time to gel, but something is very wrong you can feel it. The dwarf will not do anything uuntil xmas by then we could be in a dog fight.
This board, they are a dumb.
I sack myself.
I said he was the wrong manager. We’lll end up
14th – 16th this season and the ONLY reason we won’t be relegated is there are 3 poorer teams than us!
Buying a 32 year old striker was PATHETIC!
There’s been absolutely ZERO to show we are playing with any system or style, it’s disgraceful!
Everyone who wanted to get rid of Moyes I hope your enjoying this shi&
you must like old stale shi&
be careful what you shi& for
If we stay up it can only be luck, there again west ham don’t have a lot of luck. Anyone can se this isn’t working bur the Board Room
Hello everybody how are you all
I’ve been trying to log into a wolves website without success mainly because I’m a computer luddite!
Has anyone asked or does anyone know what genuine wolves fans think of what Loppy did at Molinneux and if they were glad to get shot of him
Just asking is all
Thanks
I hope the three spurs players who fell about after minimal contact, are feeling good about themselves. How many grown men have fallen to the floor crying after a shoving match. The example of feigning injury has been established by their odious captaon Son. The rolling about sceaming clutching body parts that have hardly been touched is not only unmanly but also a disgusting example to our youth.
Mate it is a joke!!! Very Spursy and just adds to the sky sports Spurs love in !!!!
There have been a lot of new players and that’s not Lopeteguis fault as any new manager would have had that situation. We should never have been in the situation where so many needed bringing in.
To my eyes the main issue is that the midfield is too porous so that’s where the main focus should be. Paqueta is not doing it, drop him for Soler. Alvarez is a nailed on starter so start him, drop Souchek who is also not doing it. One way or another the midfield needs to be less play straight through it as if its not there.
Maybe someone like Flynn Downes? Oh … hold on
Anyone else remember Avram Grant and his post match interviews and analysis? ‘We were playing away and scored the first goal. Then we were unlucky to concede four and we lost 4:0. We are working very hard and will continue to do so in readiness for the next game. Thank you.’
We’ve heard it all before. Before that was the hapless Alan Curbishley – nothing to get excited about with Alan.
Hopefully, Julen and his bunch of helpers will be able to communicate a winning style of football in the not too distant future. Certainly don’t want any repeats of Avram or Curbs.

Transition to a new style of play?? What new style of play??
This is exactly the problem. I would have absolutely no issue with giving him time if I could see what he was trying to do, but after some early attempts at a possession based game it’s just decended into disorganised chaos.
By the time Sullivan gets round to doing something about JL it will be to late it wouldn’t be so bad if we saw the team playing with passion and at least trying to win right now there is only a few trying to win games the rest just look on and do basically nothing it’s a total disaster the way things are now Man Utd must be delighted that we are playing them next Sunday they will expect to walk all over us and now that kudus is going to be out for at least 3games we are in big big trouble
He is our manager and I want him to succeed.
However , I cant seem to get around my head how much
he claimed that he prepared to be WH manager , watching all our games etc .
I hope it’s not like the joke about the politician, who promises miracles but you
take what you get after you voted .
Ferguson was on his way out, drew the next game and the rest is history . Who knows ,we can lose and play well or win ugly either way is better than yesterday’s dross . Drop pac man ,he loses the ball ,feins injury and is really contributing nothing . I’m as frustrated as anybody else but I don’t think we should give up on jlo yet but time to change before Xmas. You never know Gary O’Neil could be coming.
Good, his days are numbered then.
It would be nice if we could see some improvement
Some team play, identity, style not this clueless shambles week after week. Ponderous, slow, midfield absolutely no protection for the back 4. Areola’s distribution is absolutely awful so why not build from the back instead of lop the ball into the channels with the old cart horse up front. How many more times is he going to be done by he’s near post it’s the basics. I really can’t see him turning it round. I’d go with a Noble/ Nolan/ Keen axis to steady the ship and have a reboot. This shambles cannot carry on much long or I feel things will turn toxic with Sullivan right in the firing line. Sullivan’s to blame for this embarrassment and only he can sort it out.
Everytime they’ve waited and no turnaround has taken place has it? Wait a bit longer maybe but if there are still no signs of improvement in performance and results once we’ve faced “lesser” teams like Forest and Everton whats waiting another 6 – 8 weeks until New Year going to do?
Anyway, lets see after the aforementioned fixtures because I see nothing but a defeat against United even if they are not themselves that consistent.
Sullivans not gonna sack him . It was his choice to hire him . Let’s be honest Sullivan is never wrong. 🤦♂️
Is that the same vote of confidence that Slaven Bilic was given a week before he was fired?
Relagation beckons then ..as time.or no time.they are like headless chickens
Behave yourself we ain’t getting relegated. Kretinsky needs to buy the dwarf out . Sullivans god is money.and DK has more than enough.
.maybe over exaggerating but kritensky is a fine example that bloke has done fuvk all since he’s been here..no interest in the football side at all …he’s personally allowed to invest 900 million a year to as he sees fit ..and what has he done
3 times over billionaire..when was he last heard from on the west ham.side
..waste of timec
Yeah thought so ..kritensky 👍👍🤣🤣
