Modibo Maiga’s move to Saudi Arabian club AlNassr remains on hold this morning.
Reports that the player has left the club having signed a two year deal were described as premature by the club.
The news that he was on his way was announced by the club ‘s official Twitter account last night but was not repeated on the club’s website.
And as we reported around midnight a Hammers spokesman told the Press Association that no deal had been confirmed at this time.
And ClaretandHugh was told exclusively a few minutes ago that Maiga was expected to remain at Upton Park until Saturday at least.
A source said:” Modibo Maiga has signed nothing and is still in the UK. As things stand he remains the one fully fit striker and could start at Liverpool on Saturday and a deal may be done after that.
Is Kevin one of the boo boys coyis
Kevin we are not going to park the bus
Hippo stole that when he left but did not take the driver ( Nolan ) or the clippy ( JOB )
You should have brought a no return ticket like the rest of us,
We attack with the West Ham Way system,Pass the ball to our team mates,go forward not side ways track back and cover defenders when they go forward, pass the ball in space to Payet who finds Sakho or another attacking player in a shooting position and the crowd go mad, we win you go in hiding waiting for another defeat to come out and winge hoping BFS
is filling the whole TV on match of the day only to find we are the last match and you only see 2 minutes play and get told how bad Liverpool were not how good we were,
Try changing your story KEV
Kevin you never mentioned Magia ?
Have you lost it again
For Christ sake rent a private jet and get Magia to Saudi as fast as possible, play anyone at CF on Saturday just get the deal done,
When the Jet gets back get AC on it and fly to Saville and get him signed with them
When it returns put Kevin on it and fly to some unknown island give him a parachute and wave goodbye, only joking Kevin ( no parachute )
Hahahaha,thats cruel but not a bad idea,lol
If West Ham players can’t play the technical passing game then why oh why is BILIC pushing ahead with it ??., using the defence to push up and lose position & possession .
Not making a lot of sense at the moment . We have one season to survive before we move Home ,,, so let’s play for , THAT . This should not be a season to experiment , it should be a season to consolidate our Premiership a Status .. At the moment we look anything but , a Premiership side . Something tactical or way of playing has to be established soon or we are looking at a dismal Christmas , or even Autumn . This New System everybody is getting excited about ain’t happening .. It is looking more and more like the saymo saymo , regardless of the style we want to demonstrate . The players are not responding to BILIC .
Next up , Liverpool away .. Parking the bus with our dodgy defensive tactics is not a great option , so , as not to throw away another three points the only option is attack . , but with what System ??.
Oh sh*t.Just when you thought it was safe to go back into the water….
Oh and nothing is ever good enough for the boo boys… When are they going to learn to back the team ? COYI
Totally agree with you guys .. said yesterday we should play the development boys.. Maiga was never good enough.Lazy.cant argue a good goal sat. BUT ti little to late.
GET ride of play someone who wants to be here.
I agree completely with both comments but if Slav did that the boo boys would be intolerable.
Best idea. That’s what Slav did with Oxford. 3 points to maybe lose but a lot more to gain. If you don’t try these kids you’ll never know. Witness the fat one !
If he has a contract agreement with another club do we think he would be giving 100% knowing that he could get injured ? Why can’t we give one of the players that is staying at our club the opportunity, if its a development/youth team player like Samuelson or Lee tell them to play their best and that they won’t be judged on what is likely to be a very difficult match, use it as a learning curve they may even surprise themselves or the management.
