There is real fury inside Upton Park about the injury which unbelievably came about on the treatment table and left the Irons goal machine in agony.
Sakho was suffering from a very mild back problem and his back was pulled by an over energetic physio plunging the player into pain.
One source close to the situation declated that what had gone on was beyond belief and that there was real anger inside the club.
And the result is that the Hammers will in future be sending their own physio with the Senegal players on all future international trips including the African Nations Cup
