  1. Impressive or what ! Huge gaff , can’t wait to hear bubbles from 60 k in full swing !
What the spud didn’t know was that when the seats move forward its the place where the temporary karzi goes ,
    COYI !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!s

  2. Hi all, with reference to the seats being moved forward in the East stand. The pictures you are seeing there are with the seats moved forward. If you look the long jump run up is covered by the seats , which is obviously not the case when in Athletics mode. I was there in the Rugby bronze final and the seating was exactly the same as what you are seeing now. The walk way with the light coloured walls is the extra seating when they move the seats forward and infill.I have visited when stadium has been in both modes , and I am 99% certain that those seats are I football mode at the moment, doesn’t give them long for Friday I know , but that’s my honest opinion.

  3. Great footage btw gonzo, thank you, you were right near my seat at one point so I got a good idea of the view I’ll have – and I’ve got to admit that I’m now very excited at the prospect 😀

    • A pint of Heineken says I am right Section 235 Row 63 .

    • Thanks BB. I tried to convey the full scale but it’s hard to appreciate when watching on a phone or Laptop because the pitch just looks like a 4 inch strip of turf on an ipad screen. Suffice to day it is massive and the views are spectacular and better than Wembley where I watched Saracens v Quinns very recently.

Glad you got to see your seat though mate and I failed to mention the legroom and space between seats which is vast.

Enjoy the season mate and maybe see you at HT for a sneaky beer.

  4. Looks impressive inside but from the outside and underneath in the concourse area the whole stadium has the look of temporary construction. It doesn’t look like it will last the 99 years of the lease and given the overall cost, it doesn’t look like a quality build when compared to other modern stadia around the world.
