Exclusive: “There has been no fallout”

By Gonzo

Claret & Hugh’s top source at the club has today exclusively revealed that reports circulating surrounding Arthur Masuaku are fabricated nonsense.

The rumours had suggested that left back Masuaku had fallen out with Besiktas’s management team during his loan spell with Turkish club. It was believed that the relationship had become so fractious that the Süper Lig clubs hierarchy were considering terminating his loan deal early, and returning him to East London.

However it has been confirmed to Claret & Hugh within the last hour that there has been no such disagreement, and the player is expected to complete his 12 month loan move to it’s conclusion.

Besiktas have an option to make the deal permanent at the end of the current season, but it remains unclear whether they’ll trigger the clause. Masuaku has featured regularly for the Turkish outfit playing 20 league games this season.

Despite his regular playing time it is thought the club are looking at other full-backs, which would result in his return to the London Stadium.
