Expect between two to four new signings

|

boleyninsiderThe Club’s ITK has updated us on WHUFC.com with less than 48 hours before the transfer window slams shut.

The Boleyn Insider has told his readers:

“With the transfer window set to close on Tuesday I have exciting news regarding the arrival of more new signings.

Despite seeing the team come away with a memorable 3-0 win over Liverpool on Saturday, the Club’s board are determined to make the squad even stronger and are hoping to bring in some exciting new players over the next two days.

My sources have told me that the Club expect between two and four new signings to arrive at the Boleyn Ground in the next 48 hours.”

Those most likely four names in the frame are believed to be Chelsea winger Victor Moses on loan, Croatian Striker Nikica Jelavić from Hull,  Alex Song from Barcelona subject a second medical and Pione Sisto from FC Midtjylland.

But who knows there may be some twists and turns and last minute surprises on transfer deadline day.

    4 mid fielders basically,
    3 of them wingeress ,
If it come off then we will have a very strong squad and should do well this year !
Let’s not get carried away though , our aim has to be premiership football next year and
the higher we can finish means extra dosh !!!!!!
Anything else is a bonus .
Don’t forget this side is in transition and not yet fully honed !
Looking forward to the season proper when the window is shut !!! It’s to distracting !!!!
All I do is watch news now at every opportunity !!!!

    …between two and four…?

    …that’s three then.

The only one that interests me is this Ugandan wonderkid Pione Sisto playing at Danish club, FC Midtjylland. He looks dazzlingly good. Moses is OK at best. Song: lots of people love him. I think he is a bit of a liability; easily dispossessed and can gives the ball away in very dangerous areas. But he does have good vision and can put in a killer pass. Jelavic is a nightmare, and I hope it is just a bit of fun at our expense by rumour-mongers who enjoy putting us on the wrack!

    • DJHammer says:

I understand where you’re coming from with regards to Moses COYI247, but he is proven PL quality and played really well for the Potters last season and for Wigan beforehand.
He’s a London lad and could settle in really quick with our multi cultural squad, which gives him an edge over others in my humble opinion. I’m not sure about how injury prone he is as he drops off the radar quite often during a season from memory.
I saw the Danish player against Saints last week and he too was impressive, apparently he has knocked us back even though it’s reported a fee has been agreed, if this is true that could reignite interest in the Forest flyer again!

  • pidge22 says:

Agree with COY1247….I would focus on getting Lanzini on a permanent more than anything else ….he gave us something we have lacked for a long time…

  • markro says:

If it’s true that Sisto’s club has agreed the deal, but the lad himself has doubts about whether he’s ready for the Prem – get Reid to talk to the boy about how the Danish league and the Prem compare. Then show him how Lanzini played v Loserpool.
Sisto would be a real coup if we could get him.

Guys, completely off topic but I heard a rumour on Saturday that might explain a few things that have been going on (now bear in my it is just a rumour).. XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX

    • Sorry Micada I had to remove that comment as it potentially libellous

      • The Demon says:

Well done Sean – I was just asking ‘Where’s a moderator when you need one?’ when you intervened. The lawyers would have a field day with that one!

      • COYI247 says:

Delighted to see your intervention, Sean. Can you get the message through to the 2 Davids that buying nay Spurs player – e.g. Adebeyor – is like having an ememy in the camp – re the sitter missed by Robbie Keane that relegated us? No Adebeyor PLEASE!!!

  • markro says:

As regards buying Lanzini – how is the current deal set up? Is the option to buy at a price that’s already been agreed (as part of the loan deal), or will his price rise as the lad looks better and better?

    • IronsEssex says:

I’m pretty sure it’s a view to buy at the end contract, think he’ll cost around £7m at the end of the season, from what we’ve seen it will be money well spent, fingers crossed

  • Sorry Swannie but part of your reply removed as it was potentially libellous

We can’t allow unfounded accusations against Sam or Curtis to remain or we could end up in the courts. It is not censorship, just survival in a litigious world

  • micada says:

No worries Sean, no offence taken just love the fact that the dead wood is slowly but surely disappearing

  • GW says:

Blimey Shaun that was a quick removal, it would be interesting to see if any links did indeed exist between *** *** and ***** as it was pretty obvious to a lot of us that players that suddenly signed for ***** appeared in the side managed by his client *** ***. It’s amazing that rumours can be posted about Joey Barton, AC and Sacko’s indiscretions but when the question falls on others the word libellous comes up. Your prerogative though Shaun we’ve had enough bad press but it would be interesting to ever hear it was true as the circumstances of players inclusion to the detriment of others when associated to an individual is pretty obvious!

  • GW says:

Biggest libellous statement I heard though was that Emmanuel Pogetetz was a good acquisition to the squad lol

  • Swannie says:

Oh seems mine was removed as well.So no one is allowed to talk about Allardyce,Curtis & players on here.Ffs,nothing like Big Brother!!!

  • markro says:

Don’t talk just love a conspiracy theory!

  • markro says:

If the guy’s a snake, bearing in mind his name, Black Adder might be an appropriate pseudonym.

  • markro says:

How many Black Adder players are still in our squad?

  • bubs says:

No more going backwards lad at last our tight wads are spending some money,
Jelavic is better than Magia improvement 1
Moses is better than Nolan improvement 2
    Zarate is better Nene 3
Lanzini is better than Downing 4
We have Obaing in midfield a good CH and Payet 7
If we can sign the young Dane things are looking up
    Song would be a bonus

  • TRB says:

    ….but NOT Jelavic!

  • West Ham Fan No 32 says:

Not sure what the comments removed were but could take a good guess, is always a worry when certain agents have too many players in one club creates an area of influence that could although probably wouldn’t be exploited. On the names mentioned other than Moses would be happy but as it seems like that is now in Jeopardy and hopefully we will try to get Antonio instead who we could probably buy outright and on a less stratospheric salary than Moses all is good if we can indeed secure 3 our of the 4 including a striker.

  • billy hammer says:

Hahaha, why would they be sensitive Sean???? Something to feel guilty about 😉

  • TysonM says:

What do they have to be sensitive about Sean, lol,we all know they are straight down the line honest guys.Goes without saying surely 😀
