FA Cup date to be announced today

ticketsThe date and time for our FA Cup Quarter-Final with Manchester United at Old Trafford should be announced today.

The deadline for the priority post application runs out this eveningĀ butĀ our source close to the ticket has assured us that early applications could be cancelled with a full refund if they cannot make the date.

We have been told by the ticket office: “taking these exceptional tight deadlines and circumstances into account,” supporters could get a full refund if they cannot make the date when it is announced.

We were also told this morning: “We are told the date will be announced this morning/today, it WILL not sell out to priority point forms so there is no actual need to do that, with a match day on Saturday we wanted to get this game on sale by then and with the relevant priority periods contractually required by bond holders we have had to set the sale dates slightly earlier but we like to provide the fans as much info and advance warning as possible.”

  1. The FA are a disgrace. Its 3:00 pm four days after the draw was made and still no word from the FA on what day or time the games will take place. I believe the tickets for postal is today and season ticket holders from tomorrow, yet still no word from the FA.
Fans have to make family arrangements, work commitments, travel plans and possible accommodation. And what do we here from the organisers? Sweet FA.
