O I went to the Werder Bremen pre season game at the start of the season and if someone told me then we’d be battling for 5th with 6 games to go, I’d have bitten their hand off! It’s been a great season but we need to close it out now.

O Been a great season when most of us would of been happy around 10th at the start of season and FA Cup , would have been nice ! If we’re honest last night LVG worked us out pressed his full backs to nullify ours. Slav was constantly encouraging them to push forward! As this season goes last night was a rare bad day at the office!
O I think last night there were one or two trying too hard and was the start of a steep learning curve for the boys, and when in Europe next season and challenging for top 4 again we’ll handle the pressure better. Disappointing but onwards and upwards. And we’ll have our revenge in the league wink emoticon

O  All to play for. Let’s have real go at these last 6 games.

O I think in all honesty any manager you ask would put league position over the FA Cup. For us that has always been the case but how exciting is it to be focusing on the top 6 rather than the bottom 6!!!!

Id’ rather have won the cup then finish fourth

Let’s beat man u in the league

Come on guys your not telling me an open top bus down Green St wouldn’t be great way to end a great season?? Personally I hope it’s not gonna be a drop off because we’re far from safe in sixth!

O City can drop points this weekend. Man U probably won’t as they are playing Villa I think so if we can win we are still right in the mix for fourth. Easier said than done but Slav will pick the players up. We have the spirit. Saints are in touching distance though. It will be tough.

O One game doesn’t make a crap season, we have played well up to now and hopefully will kick back on Sunday, all in all a far better season than I thought it was going to be!!!

We all know when you surport this club that there are more lows then highs,
But this has been a great season and we can still finish in the top 6 and play in Europe,
For 15 minutes we were the better side and then we were nieve and stuck to the same tactics, they learnt and changed there tactics,
Carrick should have been closed down and they would have been closed down,
I believe we can beat Leicester and if we do it will be a great season and finish with revenge over Manure at the old girl
I love this site because the people here are not delusional just human
    Fukc Wetpants

There are some proper c##ts on there who think they know everything. We have had a top campaign & some twats on there want to doubt Bilic.Shocking!

    • GW says:

Stan they’ll be the same ones that didn’t want anyone to replace their beloved slug , who have been lurking in the shadows with a box of kleenex staring lovingly at their BFS screen saver and waiting for the day to tell everyone that Slav ain’t that good, they know who they are!

Disappointed lastnight after going to the game but then got home read here & then headed over to Wetpants coz I knew it would be carnage, haha.Sure enough the experts in full flow popping at players & manager like a bunch of kids.If ever there was a day when they proved exactly why other sites think they are a joke it was lastnight & today.Laying into Bilic, telling him what he did wrong like experts.Love the ones who tell Bilic he got his tactics wrong.Maybe they should be on the bench managing against LCFC.D|ckheads.

Feel sorry for you mate, not exactly a banner day…
But then you got the chance to study the problem from the inside thanks to the expert managers of our twist site… that’s very important… don’t forget it… ahahah 😀

    • Gobby says:

They make me cringe when I read how knowledgeable they believe themselves to be.More knowledgeable than Bilic it appears.

      • GW says:

Apparently Bolton’s 50 man shortlist for new managers role includes all the keyboard tacticians and gurus of all things football from deludedtillidie. No doubt their blueprint for success will come from their messiahs autobiography ,Mary Berry’s cookbook and talent spotting on YouTube and Fifa 16.

  • Gobby says:

Don’t read Wetpants then Essexclarets unless you want to read the wise men telling Slaven where he went wrong. Some of them really rate themselves as experts don’t they, lol

    • essexclarets says:

Lol Going over there less & less recently. Every one is entitled to their opinion but ffs getting way OTT. Can’t be arsed with all that crap..
Bilic picked a team that he thought would win, maybe he should log in over there & ask certain people who he should pick & go for that. Maybe expand the dug out so all the experts would be close enough to tell him what to do & when

      • Gobby says:

Lol,that made me laugh about expanding the dugout.I can just imagine a row of 20 Wetpants all raising their arms to get Slavens attention so they could show him on their i-pads where they know he is going wrong.

Last night shows we need a out & out RB, Antonio is not that man. Very disappointed with Valencia, terrible game & offered nothing, had two great chances in the 1st half but basically passed it to De Gea. No point moaning about the result any more than that. Move on to next game. Some fans are really laying into Bilic over team selection, we had the chances but didn’t take them.
    Am I pissed off?? Yes
will it ruin our season?? No

  • LoveBrooking says:

Loving this season. BUT. Problem we had against Arsenal not addressed and why we lost last night.

2 x tactical issues against top sides make us too open, too easy for opposition to create overlaps against us:
    1. Antonio at right back. Love him. Cracking player, but wants to bomb forward. But he can’t do everything.
    2. No holding midfielder. Neither Noble or Kouyate have any interest in sitting in front of back 4 (or usually 2 with Antonio and Cresswell upfield). NEED someone to sit to help the centre halves.

Ozil and Feilaini have loved it this week. Just drop off collect the ball. No pressure, then turn and run at our out-numbered defence…….

    Too easy.

We got to smarten up Slaven. We have to learn…..

    Rant over

Saying all that love this season, the attitude, team. We’re on the up !!! COYI

Gutted is a understatement ! But we simply did not turn up . Why ! OK, its done and dusted , far to much to nit pick , its been a great season anyway you want to look at it , we got far more than was expected , even though a few of us said we would do well under Bilic ! But a lot more were less agreeable , basically getting what we wished for brig aid ,
Still something to play for and we can still put the boot in to the mancs as we have them at the old girl one last time ! Could be our biggest game of the season if all pans out well in the run in !
IMO , next year is when it starts proper , a few more players on board and a few out the door,
And a new era begins ,

My only gripe about last night was that we beat them in Manchester ? Now we are out ?
    We didn’t deserve that. !
Next up Leicester , a win there will cause havoc ! Can’t wait !
