Opinion: childish FA must always have the last word

|

So Wnobleest Ham have been charged yet again by The FA for failing to ensure that its players conduct themselves in an orderly fashion!

In the heat of battle, it’s easy to understand why footballers – and plenty of other sportsmen, for that matter – see red mist when a refereeing decision goes against them. And the Mark Noble red card fiasco at Anfield has found plenty of soccer pundits scratching their heads wondering how the player’s conduct warranted an instant dismissal.

The standard fine for this kind of offence is £20,000 – and that’s if the club admits breaching FA Rules in relation to player conduct.

During the last 12 months, West Ham have been fined £20,000 twice: once for breaching FA Rules in relation to player conduct back in February 2015 against Southampton, when Adrian got sent-off (later overturned), and again in November 2014, against Everton, when James McCarthy’s mistimed tackle on Morgan Amalfitano provoked a backlash.

It appears that it is standard practice for the FA to charge a club after having having a red card overturned. It’s almost as if the game’s top brass have to have the last word in some childish contest!

Never mind that the Irons players were justifiably complaining about a poor refereeing decision – which has now been overturned by FA. There has to be an edge somewhere for the game’s ruling body in this country eh? Just plain WRONG in my opinion!

West Ham are unlikely to contest or appeal this latest charge, and the club will probably just roll over and pay the £20,000 with gritted teeth. But if the referee got these important decisions right there would be no over reaction by players.

Maybe the FA should use all these fines it is hoovering up and invest the cash in video technology to put an end to sending-off errors by professional referees in the first place!

You only have to look at Hodgsons squad to realise that there blinkered towards the so called big clubs and have been for years.. Dyke moans about lack of English players yet Manure spend 36 million on an unproven French man and the silence is deafening, refs haven’t been accountable for years when it comes to team like us but god forbid you send off one of the top so called 6 and then there demoted bunch of fucking blinkered arseholes, nothing will never change

The FA got big problems they have 3 bad refrees on the roster clattenburg, taylor and friend
There are more but these take the cake. They have tried to do everything possible to rehabilitate these three but you cant pass off a donkey in sheep’s clothing .
So they have come up with this obscene fine to hide the incompetence of their 3 employees .

All ways the same its keep quite and the player gets a 3 week ban or make the FA and there employees look twoots and pay £20k for the privilege,
You can’t win so each time you have to decide is the player worth £6.5k per match or is it better leaving him out

    And the first !!!
