Fab, Randolph, Oggy, Yarmo injury updates

|

Darren Randolph appears to be winning the race for the goalkeeping sweater on Monday evening.

Despite carrying an obvious hip problem during the game against Manchester City we understand the no 2 is slightly ahead of Lukasz Fabianski.

Fab suffered a problem in training when his elbow was trodden on by one of the players and has still not fully recovered.

No final decision has been made at this point and much will depend on whether there is further improvement for the No 1 between now and Monday evening.

However, Randolph is seen as the most likely stopper for the game against Leeds as things stand.

Meanwhile we understand that Angela Ogbonna is now walking free of a boot following his injury in the fifth round FA Cup tie at Old Trafford and is currently in gym training whilst Andriy Yarmolenko is back on the grass .

Both will be hoping for a return to action before the end of the month or early April.
