Fan fury as “shambolic” Irons collapse

Jamie Redknapp described the West Ham performance against Southampton as shambolic.
Here are some random comments on his damning verdict on Slaven Bilic’s team from members of the ClaretandHugh Facebook Group @ https://www.facebook.com/groups/363174467150521/

O He’s not wrong
I blame the complete midfield who are not helping the defence nor the attack. I think one of our best moves was a long pass Ogbonna to Zaza who controlled it but missed
O Owners are clowns.
O Bilic should walk away
O We were awful. Im still waiting for a performance to feel proud of. Its becoming a joke. If Bilic wants to remain in a job, he needs to start ringing the changes, and give others the chance such as Randolph, Oxford, Fletcher, Fernandes etc Does anyone know if there is a clause in Zaza’s loan contract that he has to start every game?
O He has 3 games to save his job. If he doesn’t get six points from the next nine he will be seeking a new job before Xmas. Wish it wasn’t the case but it is unfortunately as Spurs, Arsenal and Liverpool all follow in December and Man United shortly after that…..win or bust games coming up.
O Shambolic is the word. Players are simply not doing their jobs and either they don’t understand what is being asked of them (Slav’s fault), are being organised incorrectly or ineffectively (Slav’s fault), have mentally lost it (up to Slav to fix) or don’t care (not really Slav’s fault but then don’t pick them).

  1. I’m gonna have to join the ranks of wetpants that is how bad it feels at the moment. The spirit in this side has gone much like the spirit of West Ham. Easy to say it been left at Upton Park and to be honest it has.

Now we and the team have to find our own spirit. Unfortunately it all feels very plastic. Bit like when my local was flogged off, closed down and renovated in to a vintage inn bar restaurant type thing.

    • Nothing, even no wins all season is bad enough for anyone to want to join the Wetpants ranks.Have a word with yourself Lol

  2. Problem is I’ve never been back to that local. What the f are the manager and owners doing at the moment? We had focus leading up to the move, now that we have moved that focus has completely disappeared. Almost like someone has said take the year off the job is done.

I don’t really get why the players who have impressed in pre season aren’t getting a look in. Randolph, Byram, Fletcher, Oxford, Burke and Cullen all looked like pushing their way in to the side but don’t think Bilic fancies any of them.

Also, what happened to Samuelson, the club were saying very positive things about him but he didn’t get a look in over the summer. Why?

  3. Can’t see Bilic surviving. Middlesborough and Crystal Palace coming up. Two teams infinitely better than our shambolic outfit. Seems pretty impossible to shake up this lot sufficiently to get anything from those two games. After that will come the coup de grace. As anyone who has supported WHU for any length of time will tell you, when a team is in dire straights, as Sunderland are, the best thing that can happen for them is to play WHU. That is the third match coming up, and that will be the day when Sunderland start to turn their season around. Bet you!

  4. Nice positive post Ed.I feel a whole lot better after reading that Lol

  5. Today was dire. A totally disclconnected back four and a massive gap in front of them when anything was cut back from the flanks. Kouyate is in cruise mode. Zazza is a pale imitation of Carlton Cole. Let’s not even touch on Norvelt. Adrian’s distribution is dire. The closing down and energy is not there. Seriously worried that Slav has lost his grip.

  6. I never thought I would say this and it is nothing to do with the results because we have had plenty of bad of those over the many years but if anyone wants to buy my season ticket they can the whole placece is just sterile we were talking on the way to the game there’s nothing no shops by the ground anything the whole thing has been ruined by them greedy *******s

  7. And most of all I blame broomhandle bradey

  8. I’m starting to think the dreaded word RELEGATION.Hope I’m wrong.Surely the owners can see their investment going down the tube if we are relegated.Surely Payet won’t want to stay around either. Why doesn’t Bilic do what Klopp did at Liverpool.Persist with the youth and out with the dead wood, which we have in abundance.Sure we will lose some but we will stay up to press forward next year hopefully in the P.L.Liverpool are going great guns at the present. If the owners ever wanted to attract top players to the club they can all but kiss that one goodbye.Matte, the owners and board need to do some serious figa-ring.
