Fan view: Moyes facing last games…please

A show of hands please: Who thinks that David Moyes’ has retained his job because of European success last season?
Personally I watched a very poor side scrape a survival in the Premier League last season. Massive cracks in player and managerial differences were hidden and the cracks papered over.
Tim Steidten-West Ham-David Moyes

Steidten looks the one responsible for good signings

The promise of exciting players finally came to the fore but clearly were not DM purchases I think we have to thank Tim Steidten for those. Finally good money spent on some great players.

We started this season with what I believe is a blip…..a positive blip.
We appear now to be slipping back to our old ways. The cracks of lacklustre performances are starting to appear, still great players but they actually appear confused as to what is expected from the manager.
The tactics – that don’t work – don’t change, DM appears to be incapable of doing so and the team set up with the outcome being inevitable.
A poor Everton side without four players (admittedly diver Deli Ali isn’t a starter) still turn us over?
All I hear with DMs after game speech is excuses and then followed by white noise!
To say Everton are ‘good at what they do’ well it’s about time you took a leaf from their under 12s game day plan and be good at what we do!
I hate to say this but another lacklustre performance and goal fest, this time against Arsenal could this be DMs last game for us.
I now refuse to get up (I’m in Oz) and watch this pile of poo playing under Moyes. I can’t afford a new TV twice a week!!!!

As 6 straight defeats aren’t really on the cards- he’ll keep his job till either WH are relegated or crash out of Europa League. Though the latter is less likely knowing which teams remain in it. I wouldn’t mind seeing Potter take charge whenever that may be- fed up with all this defensive play. He’d get rid of the deadwood and give a couple of the youths a chance.

I couldn’t agree more with everything you say

Have to agree, I think we won the trophy inspite of Moyes ,not because of him! Time for a new man!
